Hogs

If you know me, the Big Onion, at all, you know that pork is my meat of choice.  However, we have decided that hogs would be one of the last livestock investments we make.  The farm was purchased with facilities and space for poultry and ruminants, such as sheep and goats, already in place. Hogs will require some updating of the fencing and some careful planning.

We certainly do hope to have some hogs later this year so please do keep checking back! In the meantime, we'll be researching breeds to ensure that we can find the right hogs that fit in with our goals for the farm and for the products that we'd like to supply to our customers. If you raise hogs, particularly of some sort of heritage breed, and would be interested in selling some breeding stock we'd love to talk to you!
